How do I pay a bill?
How do I pay a bill?
Updated over 3 months ago

You can use your Adro Checking, Savings or Credit to pay your bills online, such as your cell phone, internet and utilities.

In the US, you typically pay a bill by logging in to your online account manager through the biller's website. Most billers will allow you to pay with direct debit by adding your Adro Checking or Savings account details. Some billers will also allow payment by credit card, in which case you would add your Adro World Mastercard details.

Regardless of which Adro account you use, it's important to ensure you have enough money in the account to pay the bill. Learn how to add money to Adro

What information do I need to share with the biller?

To pay from your Adro Checking or Savings account through direct debit, you'll need the following information.

  • ACH routing number

  • Account number

  • Account type (Checking or Savings)

You can find this information by:

  1. Logging in to your Adro account

  2. Navigate to Checking or Savings account

  3. Click 'Account details'

To pay with your Adro credit card, you'll need the following details from the back of your card:

  • Cardholder name

  • 16-digit credit card number

  • Expiry date

  • 3 or 4-digit CVV/CVC/CVD/CID number (these terms are often used interchangeably)

What is direct debit?

Direct debits are when you link your account to another service and give them permission to debit money straight from your account. With direct debits, you can set up automatic payments and avoid the risk of late fees charged by your biller.

Does Adro charge anything when using my account to pay bills?

No, we don't charge anything when you use Adro to pay your bills online. Keep in mind, your biller may charge a processing fee depending on your payment method.

Can I set up bill payment from the Adro website/app?

No. You'll need to login to your online account manager through the biller's website.
